Upbase App is a simple React Native application that demonstrates how to create a basic app with only one screen. The app displays a welcome message and an image.
The main purpose of this project is to serve as a starting point for developers who want to create their own React Native apps.
Before you can run Upbase App, you must have the following installed on your computer:
- Node.js
- npm
- React Native CLI
- Android Studio (for Android development)

To install Upbase App, follow these steps:
- Clone this repository to your local machine using
git clone [email protected]:devartes/upbase-app.git
- Navigate to the project directory and install the dependencies using
npm install
- Connect your Android device or start an Android emulator
- Run the command
npx react-native start
to start the Metro bundler or... - In a new terminal window, run the command
npx react-native run-android
to start the app on your Android device or emulator.
Once you have installed Upbase App, you can launch it by running npx react-native run-android
from the project directory. The app will open on your Android device or emulator.
