SteamCMD Commands List

SteamCMD

GitHub Workflow Status Codacy grade SteamCMD SteamCMD MIT License

Description

SteamCMD does not have a "list all" command to get all command options within SteamCMD. Instead you have to use find <string>. This script outputs all the commands available and saves it to a file.

List

You can get the output without using the script.

steamcmd_commands.txt

GitHub Actions checks daily for updates and posts them to this repo. So this list will always be up-to-date.

Usage

Simply download the script and run it.

wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/dgibbs64/SteamCMD-Commands-List/master/steamcmd_commands.sh
chmod +x steamcmd_commands.sh
./steamcmd_commands.sh

steamcmd-commands-list's Issues

Steam: Known parameters for @StreamClientArgs

"The list is taken from the steam link config:"

--fullscreen
--windowed
--[no]vsync
--[no]hwaccel
--noinput
--scale [1?]
--quality [1-3]
--captureres [WxH]
--framerate [N]
--hardwarebitratelimit [N (Kbit/s)]
--bitrate [N (Kbit/s)]
--burst [N (Kbit/s)]
--debug
--server [IP:PORT]
--settings [PATH]
--showdebugoverlay
--gameid ?

EDIT: NOPE THIS DOESN'T WORK!!! Syntax: Steam.exe -console +@StreamClientArgs "--framerate 50" NEED TO ENTER THIS MANUALLY IN CONSOLE!

Incorrect "workshop_status" command

Can it be that the command workshop_status is bugged? I just can't write a status script to check the individual workshop items for updates!

SteamCMD - app_run

what are the arguments I can use with this.

I'm currently attempting to change queryport from 27015 to 27016 when launching a specific app via steamcmd, but it doesn't seem to work, i can do it via a batch but i assume thats using launch parameters by actually launching the exe instead of how steamcmd launches an app. so it doesn't work with what I need to do. typically I would just change the settings within the ini file for the specific game, but for one of the specific games I'm working with, thats not an option, as they don't have the parameter set within the ini

simply put, attempting to use:
app_run [gameid] -port 8212 -queryport 27016

trick

why not simply find : ?

Migrate too using Travis only

Need to setup travis to merge the results in to the repo. Travis has a cron feature. This will remove the need for a cronjob on my server

CWorkThreadPool

need to filter out this message that sometimes pops up

CWorkThreadPool::~CWorkThreadPool: work processing queue not empty: 2 items discarded.
