vscode-icons's Issues

Borders

Could you add bright borders to icons with dark backgrounds? It is hard to see them with macOS dark theme.

Documentation for Mac Os

Great repo looking for some documentation on the .icon paths requirements after the . icon repos are downloaded and the desired icon is changed in the applications folder.

I would like to create a pull request with this advisory notice.

Usage Instructions for Windows/Linux

I can't seem to find any usage instructions for Windows/Linux in the README, macOS only. I reasoned Windows should be supported because of #2, but is Linux supported anyways? Am I missing something?

Windows icons are small

I have changed my Code icon to stranger things. The icon is too small compared to the original one. Can you make bigger so it appear nicely?

But the build seem to fail right away without touching anything. Is there any thing extra needed?

Windows Icons

Wow! This look very cool! Too bad this is only for MacOS. Can you make some for Windows 10? Or are you already busy with it? I will leave the design to you, I'm not too good with colors!

Icon resets on macOS with every update

I love these icons, but when I set an icon for vs code, it resets with every update. Is there any way to keep the icon change across updates of VS Code?

Can't change icon on Windows 10

I tried changing the icon and whenever I launch vscode it changes back to it's original icon. I have also tried deleting IconCache.db, restarting the explorer.exe task and logged out and logged back in. I also tried restarting since none of those options really worked. I have also changed all of the shortcut icons so it's not only the taskbar but I also changed the shortcut icons in the start menu and then when I pin it to the taskbar it's show that icon that I want, but when I launch vscode it just reverts to original icon.

Both images of how it changes when I launch it

Include source files

I really like these, and I'd love to play with the colors to match some other color schemes. Could you upload somewhere the source files (.psd or similar) that you used to make these, so it's easier for other people to iterate on them?

The legacy version mentions a vscode.sketch template file, but there doesn't seem to be an equivalent for the Big Sur-styled icons.

vscode Pride icon

Hey, first of all, nice github repo, found some nice icons.
Personally I am using this Pride themed icon a lot of the time. Maybe you can add it to the repo, so other people can find it too.
