I created a logo today that could be added to the package so this could appear at the chocolatey.org.

The latest commit to the repository fixed the install of oh-my-posh, but also inadvertently rolled the version back as seen on the commit: oh-my-posh/tools/chocolateyinstall.ps1

I attempted to make the fix myself and commit a branch for a PR, but I don't believe I have repository rights, should be a simple fix though.

I had to update the logo to make it snapcraft compatible. Therefor the following URL is applicable:

This will solve the broken logo issue in chocolatey.

When you install oh-my-posh for all users, the path for themes will be C:\Program Files (x86)\oh-my-posh\themes\ not "$env:LocalAppDataPrograms/oh-my-posh/themes/

Please, adjust the info that is printed after installation.

An email to maintainers on chocolatey pointed out what looks like an auto complete mistake (or copy-paste) in the windows feature check.

"[It] appears to check for IIS being disabled before enabling Hyper-V. I think it should be checking if Hyper-V is enabled before enabling it."

This needs to be investigated and corrected before the next multipass chocolatey release.

Keeping these packages up to date is made possible via automation. However, the descriptions are often cut out of the original projects readme files. For this I'm looking for PR's that correct descriptions that have changed for these projects.

You can look through the projects listed and compare the ReadMe to the description field in the corresponding nuspec file. I'll also accept updates to tags as long as the description has also changed.

I believe, in addition to the existing checks, it should also check -or $line -like 'Set-PoshPrompt*' which is an alternative way to set the theme instead of using Invoke-Expression (oh-my-posh --init ..., I believe that would be one possible fix to the issue discussed here

It looks like the new installer does not explicitly add to your powershell profile. I'd like to add to options to enable/disable it as well as select a theme through chocolatey as a param.

Currently ferdi is not automatically updating. I attempted to fix the regex for the release binaries but now it's not detecting new versions at all (what I get for trying to fix bugs through the mobile interface).

Anyone who wants to take a crack at this is welcome. I hope to be able to fix it by tomorrow at the latest. A PR is in to explicitly update Ferdi to 5.6.0 if this takes more > than a day to get to.

multipass 1.2.1, installed on windows 10 pro 64 bit using chocolateygui. Appears to install ok, but then "multipass" on the command line tries to run multipass from Program Files (x86), which fails, as it's installed in Program Files (withotu the (x86). Uninstall fails in the same way. Not sure whether this is a chocolateygui problem or a multipass packaging problem.

Could the auto bot be updated so that the latest package of n3dr will become available on chocolatey?

Bazel versions newer than 5.3.0 require an upgrade for vcredist140. I'm not familiar with choco, but is it possible to add this as an explicit requirement for the Bazelisk package?

Source trail fails to update with this error

Happy to report that there is a new version of FileConverter, version 2.0, released yesterday.

It looks like the update.ps1 script should take care of it once triggered.

I also noticed that in your readme you are referencing file-converter.org, which appears to be the same software but it's actually NOT! I was almost tricked by this as well, even the webpages look identical. The correct URL is file-converter.io

You'll notice that on the .org site it wants you to download some "Zamzar" exe, vs the .io site it directs you to GitHub or refers you to the .msi file. 👀

I intend to use a globally installed version of this tool for another project, and having it pre-installed would be nice.

Depending on the nature of the change, a new package needs to be made for Stride, an upgrade path for Xenko -> Stride needs to be created, and Xenko needs to be deprecated.

This version prevents upgrade to 1.7.0 version.

Plugins for Milkman that currently do not have a Chocolatey package need to be added and then the plugins meta-package needs to be updated to depend on them.

This can be done mostly by copying another plugin and changing all references to point to the new one.

Ferdium maintainers have asked for the package to use the EXE installer instead.

im on 19045 ver, but when i ran choco install multipass still have error "ERROR: Hyper-V requires Windows 10 Pro/Enterprise with a build version > 17134"

Chocolate packages will be installed for all users (not the current user)
I just noticed that the oh-my-posh package is installed by default only for the current user.
This is not good, since chocolate packages are installed only once, if one user installs a package, another user can not install it.

Maybe this change will solve this problem:
