This is a starter template for building an Express.js application using TypeScript.

• TypeScript: Write your server-side code in TypeScript for better type safety and developer experience.
• Express.js: Use the popular Express.js framework for building web applications and APIs.
• Dependency Management: Uses npm for managing project dependencies.
• Scripts: Pre-configured npm scripts for building and running the application.

Make sure you have Node.js and npm installed on your machine.

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/dipantan/express-typescript-starter.git

2. Navigate to the project directory:

   cd express-typescript-starter

3. Install dependencies:

   npm install

• To start the development server:

  npm run dev

• To build the TypeScript code:

  npm run build

• To start the production server (after building):

  npm start

• You can configure the port on which the server runs by modifying the PORT environment variable in .env file.
