In der packages.sty könnte man folgendes an Zeile 40 einfügen und dann bei Bedarf ein- oder auskommentieren, um eine serifenlose Schriftart zu aktivieren:
% sans-serif bzw. Helvatica nutzen:
\usepackage{helvet}
\renewcommand{\familydefault}{\sfdefault}
There should be an installation guide for absolute beginners. 🔰
Something like:
git clone ...

Often a thesis is not only written solely at the university but also in cooperation with an external company. The cooperation is then mentioned in the thesis but it would give the thesis a nice touch to include the company logo on the front page next to the logo of the university.
I already fiddled a bit with this but could not get any satisfying result. I'like to get this idea off my chest/mind with opening this issue and I'd like to documentate here any progress in this topic.
After producing an acceptable result I might do a pull request.
As far as I know there is currently no plugin for syntax highlighting included.
The package "listings" (\usepackage{listings}
) which can be used for inline code like:
\lstinline[basicstyle=\ttfamily]|if (a && b)|
or to include code over several line in the appendix.
What do you think?
To my surprise a simple command like underlining a longer passage (in my case: in a \todo[inline]{foo}
-box) is not that easy in Latex, because the underlined passage will not be wrapped at the end of line; see here: https://tex.stackexchange.com/q/9550.
The package ulem takes care of this issue.
It is important to use it with the following parameter, so it does not mix up \emph
:
\usepackage[normalem]{ulem}
Usage in a tex-file: \uline{foo}
While in the packages.sty file the parameter for the biblatex backend
is set to bibtex
, my editor TeXstudio runs sometimes into some kind of endless loop when trying to compile. While with backend=biber
it runs just fine.
Is this a general issue or just me?
The bibliography based on the template from Prof. Kees looks a bit different to the default templates from LaTeX.
This shows an example bibliography; it's very painful, time consuming and exhausting to do this all manually for each book:
As far as I know, it's possible to create an own style for the bibliography answering the questions after executing latex makebst
, like in this blog. The manual for makebst
can be found here (PDF).
/edit: I see you are already using biblatex
instead of natbib
. I'm going to take a look at the possibilities of biblatex for a custom bibliography style.
