mu-0.9.8.4 - configure error w/Xapian 1.2.10 on OSX about mu HOT 3 CLOSED

ah, macos uses zsh as its system shell, which has slightly different regexp semantics, which is why it breaks there but works elsewhere. anyway, fixed the code (in git).

If you want to patch your 0.9.8.4, you can use the following (around line 142 in configure.ac):

AS_CASE([$xapian_version],
[1.[[2-9]].[[0-9]]], [],
[AC_MSG_ERROR([** xapian version >= 1.2 needed, but version $xapian_version found.])])

after that, autoreconf -i should get you an updated configure which works on MacOS

Right on. The system shell is bash, though. I can see the change in 1dc4422. Thanks for the fix.

I mean the shell behind /bin/sh; this is the shell invoked from configure. When I manually changed the first line from /bin/sh to /bin/zsh I could reproduce the issue.

Anyway, it's fixed now :)
