it's the almost only issue blocking this to work on my router
there's working code i found https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/tree/openwrt-21.02/package/utils/nvram
without reading the code, reading nvram variable is simple enough that replacement code can be written in short term
nvram itself appears as block device which is good

tho i'm not familiar with c and idk how can i use string to string map in kernelspace

nvram starts with
46 4C 53 48 14 3C 00 00 9C 01 00 00 46 01 00 00 90 01 00 00
and key=value pairs are separated with 0x00(null)

empty spaces are filled with 0xff
