I'm a bit green with this stuff. Is there anything I can do?
I also noted that yasm is not specified as a dependency in metadata.rb
.
Hi there,
Thank you for this cookbook, it works really great. I have a suggestion that would make it a little better. Instead of just include the recipes x264 and libvpx, you could check if --enable-libx264 and --enable-libvpx are present in the compile flags - if they are not, there's no reason to include the recipes, right? Something as simple as the code below. Thank you.
if node[:ffmpeg][:compile_flags].include? '--enable-libx264'
include_recipe "x264::source"
end
if node[:ffmpeg][:compile_flags].include? '--enable-libvpx'
include_recipe "libvpx::source"
end

I get this error all the time when I run ffmpeg
recipe.
Actually I haven't problem with install and update ffmpeg, but I'll be happier if I don't need to see the error every time.

Thanks.
This should depends on ubuntu cookbook to install multiverse repos
Hi, in Debían Jessie we have needed pkg-config.deb in order to link Libx264 headers.
I got a error while trying to install to Ubuntu14.04.
Found no assembler Minimum version is yasm-1.2.0
I'd happy if I can circumvent the error by configuring some parameters.
Thanks
