Portainer is a lightweight management UI which allows you to easily manage your different Docker environments (Docker hosts or Swarm clusters).

Make sure you have installed these:

• Docker and Docker Compose - Will install all the required packages and software.

Make a copy of .env.example file named .env

cp .env.example .env

Environment variables:

• UI_PORT - port, on which Web UI will be running.

# Docker settings
UI_PORT=9000

Build the Docker image

docker-compose build

Start

docker-compose up

Stop

docker-compose down

• Access Portainer through localhost:UI_PORT from browser.
