1.Clone the Repository: Visit the GitHub repository and click the green "Code" button. Choose "Download ZIP" to get the project files. Alternatively, if you have Git installed, you can clone the repository using the provided URL.

2.Extract the ZIP File: Once downloaded, extract the ZIP file to your desired location.

3.Open the Project: Navigate to the extracted folder and open the project in Visual Studio Code, or your preferred Integrated Development Environment (IDE).

Setting Up the Environment:

4.Open a Terminal: In your IDE, open the integrated terminal.

5.Create a Virtual Environment (optional but recommended): python -m venv env

Activate the virtual environment: On Windows: .\env\Scripts\activate, On macOS/Linux:source env/bin/activate

6.Install Dependencies: Execute the following commands to install the required packages: python -m pip install djangorestframework python -m pip install django-allauth

If the above commands don't work, you may try without the python -m prefix: pip install djangorestframework pip install django-allauth

7.Run the Server: To start the Django development server, type the following command in the terminal: python manage.py runserver

8.Access the Application: Open a web browser and go to http://127.0.0.1:8000/ to view the application.

Troubleshooting: If you encounter any issues, make sure Python and Pip are correctly installed and added to your system's PATH. Ensure that all the dependencies listed in the project's requirements.txt file are installed. If you see a message about unapplied migrations, run python manage.py migrate before starting the server.

Ensure to include a requirements.txt file in your repository with all the necessary dependencies listed. This file allows users to install all dependencies at once using pip install -r requirements.txt.
