Hi,
I have included your component in my system. Hass.io can only read values while the device is in discovery mode (pressing Bluetooth button). It is intended?

I did the setup as described. Temperatur and humidity are shown as sensors, but not the battery level. I see, its included in the other sensors, but as single value.
With monitored_conditions it results in an error.
Also tried with value_template (to add a constant to the humidity), also without success.

Have i to install this .py file sorry i am a noob because i tryed the changes with the configuration.yaml but got the error Platform not found: sensor.xiaomi_hygrothermo. how to solve this bro

First of all I want to thank you for your work and time. It is very important that we can connect our xiaomi BLE devices to Home Assistant!

I've been trying to run my hygrometer with hassio for three days but there's no way. I activated the Bluetooth module, I activated the

device_tracker:
  - platform: bluetooth_tracker

and I have also activated your module

• platform: xiaomi_hygrothermo
      name: Mijia BT Hygrothermograph
      mac: '4C: 65: A8: D0: 7C: 55'

but the only thing I get is this error:

        Unexpected error: Failed to connect to peripheral 4c: 65: a8: d0: 7c: 55, addr type: public

Could you please help me?

I would like to create a standard Sensor that can support both miflora (that currently use on this library) and this new mitemp_bt (like i called it). We would like to make it ufficialy supported in Home Assistant. Open-homeautomation has already extracted the Bluetooth stack (support 3 bluetooth backends), and should be soon available.

What do you think it's the best idea?

it seems that the xiaomi_hygrothermo (both this from dolezsa and the original (?) from elviosebastianelli) stopped working in previous HA (due to directory rename) and now again !

Now the reason is different. It seems that the manifest.json file is missing.
When I add it, at least HA is not complaining about missing component, but still testing...

EDIT: Yes, with this file added, the component is found and works as usual.
