So the corpus class or whatever replaces it would operate something like

$retval = include($variable_file);

and then the individual pages/modules could have something along the lines of

return array(
    'page_info' => array(
        'title' => 'Awesome Page'
    ),
    'controller' => function($x){
        ...
    }
);

this has numerous considerations though, for instance __conf or __folder if so chosen files may need to be parsed seperately, which would probably be a good thing anyway...
