Chicago Crime

This repository is an exploratory analysis and visualizations of reported crime in Chicago between the years 2001 through 2022.

Forecasting Seasonality of Crimes

Findings

  • District 8 had the most crimes
  • District 31 had the least crimes
  • The total number of crimes is decreasing

  • There is more crime during the warmer months (May through August)
  • There seems to be a drop in crime in February
