The Idea is to provide the ability to pipe the output of songcorder to a stream instead of a file.
This would enable listening to a "live" network stream from the Linn Device from any (Mac/Linux) Device with Songcorder installed.

Ask User to enter filename for the .wav file as audio.wav might o'wise be erroneously overwritten in case user forgets to renam.
alternatively give audio.wav a unique file name (timestamp as filename?)

Maybe this is not related to songcorder, but wanted to try to have it solved anyway if it isn't too much trouble...

I get the following error message running sox:

MacBook-van-Garmt:rips garmtvdz$ sox
dyld: Library not loaded: /usr/local/opt/mad/lib/libmad.0.dylib

Any idea what could be wrong?

I am using songcorder to digitise some cassettes via my Linn Selekt with Katalyst.
I'm experiencing dropouts in the sound and notice when this happens the screen on the Selekt lights up. This usually only happens for a few seconds when you change source or when streaming and a new tracks starts. If I just play a cassette or LP it doesn't happen.

Have tried downloading the mac os x file, all I get is a 'songcorder.dms' file that I am as yet unable to unpack/unarchive/unzip, changing the extension to .dmg leaves the macos 10.11.6 system telling me the image type is not recognised. I would have expexcted a .dmg .zip or .pkg file as a download for use on an apple system. Can you clarify if there is a particular utitlity that is required to accesss this file/wrapper or a particular process that should be followed. I'm not very familiar with command line processes

Hi, I've tried on a couple of windows 10 machines and not got any further than the DS discovery before songcorder encounters a problem and has to close.
Tried running in win 8 and win 7 compatibility modes to no avail.

is there a way to run SONGCORDER on (Ubuntu) Linux with openhome and sox installed?

Part way through a recording I got a message

Dont know what this means - seems to have recorded ok

When quitting no file is produced
