Every New York Times crossword since Jan 1st, 1977, available in JSON format.
This repository was established as an open-source archive and a crude API, with data for a given date's crossword being available from its corresponding RAW JSON file at:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/doshea/nyt_crosswords/master/#{year}/#{month}/#{day}.json

2017/12/03.json and 2018/03/08.json are not crossword JSON, they are error pages (likely happened when trying to dump all the crosswords)
I'm just curious why there are gaps in the data. It seems there is no pattern about what date/day of the week is missing. Any light you could shed would be great. Thanks!
Hey @doshea thanks for doing this! I appreciate the work. Is the json format a standardized format for crossword puzzles or did you make it up yourself?
It would be great if there was an index.json file which either contained links to all the other json files, or contained info about which years, monhts and days were available.
