Include OSS number on Users’ Information Screen and quick search

When submitting a query via the contact page, the form doesn't clear once complete (allowing for multiple sends of the same form data)

Clicking 'enable edit'
Then clicking on a date, but clicking off again
Click 'disable edit', and nothing happens.

Is it possible to add the student’s DoB next to their name – a lot of companies request verification of DoB

When uploading a new photo, the old photo is left in-tact.

Instead of giving totals in a list, generate a report using highcharts, export it, then include it in the pdf. Much prettier.

If the student HASN’T take their MA it still shows on the Transcript but with simply a lot of jumbled up numbers next to it. Confusing as it looks as if they HAVE got the MA.

Please have a look on screen at an Archive transcript for SCHNEIDER-SIKORSKY. Patrick. He’s done a couple of papers of which the description is particularly long. You will see that they run over the Results column which is obviously confusing.

On the old OCSD a long paper description would cut itself into 2 lines, thereby leaving the Results column clear.
This doesn’t happen very often, but as we are still in the tweaking stages it will need to be sorted out at some point.

Student arrives currently don't allow printing of address labels

Mel needs to view 'In Residence' status for users, and be able to edit it.

I’ve just noticed that the data I’m entering in the under ‘notes’ in the Awards tab isn’t displaying after I refresh.

Look into creating ‘flag/ update required’ area on user profile. This would be so that only CO/ Gill Powell could input data but other users could still note information given to them. (Thought: would it then be possible to create a scheduled report of users with changes needed)

Currently, even if you're not logged in, you can perform a quick search. Clicking on the names does nothing (need to log in). But the search results themselves need to not be there.

Currently, every page load generates an array of all students on roll. Far better to use an ajax typeahead.
API already in place. Awaiting 0.9 in https://github.com/twitter/typeahead.js for custom event handlers

Will your new all-singing, all-dancing version have functionality to attach PDF of letters to student profiles?

Can you REMOVE the Tel. + SEH address at top?

Google needs lat/long for addresses - so I need to use the Geocoder api. This will search on the address, find the lat/long and pass it to the static image generator API.

Include functionality to add next-of-kin/ emergency contact details (needs to be after ‘old’ OCSD but College Office could start entering this in the Notes field now and transfer data)

CSS for user quicksearching is a little funky. See attached. Even worse when using a proper bootstrap search-query input box!

When logging in, the page that should display is called before the login process completes, so a blank page is displayed. Annoying!

the inline edit pop-up is disappearing off the edge of my screen and I can’t find a way to make it visible.

I KNOW I’m living in the Dark Ages BUT could the BA + MA dates be written as they were before – they looked so much clearer. We are not yet living in America and the majority of requests for transcripts are from British companies / organisations. I can hear you groaning as we speak! They used to be written as (example): Date Conferred: 12 October 2008.

Input for value is numerical, so it shouldn't have a placeholder of 'value'.

Edit access need to be granted, not default for staff. Confirm only staff can login.

Claire and I are looking at the possibility of using a SharePoint site for this instead of emails. It will still require a spreadsheet report from OCSD, to include the following fields:

Title
Forenames
Surname
Preferred name
Res. Status
Residence Address
Mobile
College Status
Degree
Subject
Year

The current Lodgings List report on New OCSD is a little confusing – columns are not labelled, so it’s not altogether clear what the various fields are. Is it possible to produce a new OCSD report with labelled columns?

The idea would be that OCSD contains the up-to-date record of students’ contact details, so College Office would be responsible for running the reports regularly and posting to SharePoint.

Does this sound like a viable project in the next week or so? Sorry it’s lagging so much – too many people to ask about it….

The x-axis of the graph should list short form dates, not the array index numbers. From #45

E-Mail messages when flagging a user for review needs to far more intuitive. Links to the student in question would be good too.

Awards tab (high priority and in time for magazine preparation)

When uploading a photo, the clever js ajax works great, but appends the image to the current image, instead of replacing it. Refreshing the page is required.

Filtering log results would be really useful!
