Currently there is no way to expand/collapse group tracks, so implementing this feature, while possible, doesn't work well.

The ability to expand/collapse group tracks will be added to the API in Bitwig 4.1. Come back to this feature once it is released.

It would be great to have a 16 track volume mixer page where the user you can adjust volume (turn knob) and solo tracks (press button).

Describe the bug
User Color settings do not show up on bank selection. When you click to select a bank, where in 4.4.10 it would show the user color numbers, 5.0 does not do this. Would there be an alternative to specifying these colors, while BW figures out what to do with project settings?

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

1. Click the controller settings icon.
2. Select a bank in the Bank options
3. Observe absence of user color settings

Expected behaviour
I expected the color settings to show up.

Hey hey first and foremost thank you for this awesome script. Just got my Midi Twister and its amazing.

I tried to use the Banks 2-4 but it seems that the encoders behave the same like in bank 1. The first one still selects tracks etc.
The only thing that changes is that the color switched from the track color to white but they are not free for mapping.

I am using the new Bitwig 5 Beta but it also didnt work here in the last 4.9.

Is there anything i missed during the installation ??

• Track pinning via track selection knob
• Device pinning via track selection knob
• Pinned status indication on the selection knobs, maybe through blinking/pulsing?

First of all, thanks for this, it's amazing. I just got an MFT and was resigning myself to building something, this is way better than I would have done.

Question re: the pinned indicator. I couldn't find something explaining what exactly this does, but it seems to me that when something is pinned, it keeps the UI focus even though the MFT can still control other tracks/devices. Is that right? Happy to submit a PR to document this if that's correct.

In the Bitwig 5 beta 8, knobs 9-16 stopped acting as a macro knobs controls,
(1-8 work as expected)
Worked fine in beta 6

To Reproduce
Behaviour is consistent on all devices with macro knobs.
Tried reinstalling extension, didn't help much

Describe the solution you'd like
From the twister4bitwig script there are two things i feel this script really misses, instead of the device specific knobs 7 and 8 which i never use change to "Press to browse presets for selected device Hold to choose category, tag, creator, or results column Press again to commit chosen preset" and also "Shift playhead in 1 bar increments Hold for 1 beat increments | Tap to play/stop"

Hello,

I downloaded version 2.0.1, unzipped. I placed in the ~/Documents/Bitwig Studio/Extensions/ folder. I imported the .mfs profile and uploaded it to the Twister.

When I launch Bitwig, I immediately get a pop up that says:

Twister Sister crashed

java.nio.file.NoSuchFileException: ~/Documents/Bitwig Studio/Extensions/SpecificDeviceSettings.toml

And there are buttons to either Disable or Restart.

Pressing restart just generates the same error.

Any ideas?

Just like the bottom half of the first page but for all the knobs.
