The idea is to merge png_bytes/1 and png/2 into a new png/1 that will handle all the saving options, and expose to_file/1 to write image to disk and to_bytes/0 to write image to a buffer.

Does this have support for copy functionality?
I want to use it to convert pdf to jpeg
I couldn’t find anything in the documentation

Seems like rustc can't find the library path for libraries installed using brew. Adding an extra link search folder should fix the issue.

Build fails for apple silicone chips (arm64). Extending .cargo/config file should do the trick.

Try to create a wasm version of libvips, to avoid versioning issues with host libvips.
