If the pic was open in an imageView, it has a method getImage() that returns the filename. Not sure if that helps.

So it looks like there isn't a way to get the name of the photo unless you name it yourself?
So, any ideas at this moment how we want to name the photos for the Transect, Plot & Observation.

If it only has to be unique for each device, then the media id number would work.
If I remember right, the filename doesn't really matter, as long as it can be identified uniquely for each export.

As of right now we can just give the photos a unique name (like a time stamp or etc.)
