When I try to add myself to the waitlist I can't seem to get on and when I try to click the waitlist option it there is no checkbox where there is usually a "waitlist if full" option. Help pls I know the waitlist is rapidly filling up too

If DS100 is offered as CS C100, will only declared EECS/CS majors be able to directly enroll in the class during Phase I/II?

Is there an appeals form for those that do not satisfy the prereqs?

I am successfully enrolled in the lab + section + dis, but unfortunately I do not have
any time stated on calcentral for the discussion or lab. The slot which normally says an interval of time is just blank.

Is this normal/when will the times be given so that we can plan our schedule around the lab + dis's?

Hi I want to enroll in the class in 19fall, but now I'm on the data8 waitlist, I'm just wondering if I follow the data8 lecture and lab whole semester but I still can not enroll in the class, can I meet the data 100 requirement? thanks!

Hi DS100 Staff,
I'd like to put myself on the waitlist, but CalCentral indicates the class is completely full and the option has disappeared. I have completed all prereqs and just submitted the prereq form to express my interest in the course. I would like to know if you can offer me any guidance for enrollment, e.g. are your hands tied, and should I just be on the lookout for possible waitlist openings?

Hi, if I have submitted the appeal form to take this class but my situation has changed (I am now able to take a corequisite), how can I resubmit this form?

I am already on the waitlist for STAT C100 and tried to submit the appeals form, but I was unable to submit the form because I have not completed one of the prerequisites. How can I submit an appeal asking to enroll in the class if I have the required background knowledge, even if I have not completed the exact prerequisites?

I do not meet the requirement for statistics. I understand and accept responsibility for the background material, however, I am unable to submit the appeal form because there is no option for the required statistics question that matches my position. Would it be possible to add a none of the above option or make that question not required? Thank you.

Some places mention Stat 89A as satisfying the linear algebra prerequisite; others don't. Probably worth being consistent. Specifically, http://www.ds100.org/sp19faq and https://data.berkeley.edu/education/courses/data-100 doesn't list it. Maybe update them to list Stat 89A?

I am near the end of the waitlist. Historically, how much does the class expand to allow for students on the waitlist to get into the class?

I would like to enroll in DS 100, but
I have not satisfied all prereqs.

I have not taken data 8, but I have taken cs61a in fa16 with Josh Hug, and stat134 with Henrik/Hank/Fletcher Ibser in fa17. I heard online that cs61b + stat20 satisfy data 8, so I was assuming that stat134 would replace stat20 in this grandfather clause option since it is the higher div version of it.

I have flled out the enrollment appeals option but I have not received a response from Professor Fernandez about it or Denise Yee about it(no idea about Hug yet but I know he is very busy with questions so I felt like it was a better option to pot here--apologies if I should've emailed someone or whatever-the ds 100 website is a bit confusing and hard to navigate for me for where to do based on the faq ).

What is the proper way to enroll to the grad version of this class as an EECS fifth year master student? May I have a permission code to enroll? What is my chance of getting in as an EECS 5th year master student?
I couldn’t enroll via CS C200C (the normal sections don’t accept enrollments. I need permission code to get into 999 section)
When I enrolled in STAT C200C, I am waitlisted for all sections even though they have open seats.

Or is it suggested I enroll in classes I am able to get into off the bat?

I am a final year PhD student, so I don't need the course credit. I don't even need all parts of the course - I could probably help teach the distributed systems part if you wanted :). I just want to better internalize the statistical underpinnings of the data that is relevant to my research, and my advisor suggested auditing this course.

What should I sign up for if I want to just audit the course? Piazza? Internal mailing list?

getting the following error when I try to add DS 100 "Class 31426 is full. If a wait list is available, select Add Another Class to return to step 1. Select the class link, select the wait list option and resubmit your request." regardless of which Class ##### is selected for lab

If I have another lecture at the same time but want to get attendance points can I attend office hours weekly to get that 5% and have my final weighted 30%? I understand I could have attendance weighted 0% and final weighted 35% but I don't want that option.

I'm trying to enroll in the DS100 course for Spring 2019. I understand the lab and discussion sections will be allotted later as is the case with a lot of CS classes at this school but for some reason its saying I can't enroll because of the waitlist? I'm not quite sure actually but I just want to know is it still possible for me to enroll in this course for Phase 1?

What will be the policy for final conflicts in this class?
