Distributed database for networks course Broken down into 4 parts

Creating key-store value with given operation:
Create multi-threaded client server application
Create a Peer node that can discover new nodes and create a fault-tolerant network
The data should automatically be replicated, so there is never a single point of failure.

Implemented in 3 languages: C++, Java, Python

Fix up report node so that it works with folower and peer node

Build simple client to test dmap server

Finish coding logic of Peer program

Most of the logic has been set up. However, a lot of is still pseudo-code which needs to be implemented and tested

Testing Java client

Test basic functionality of Java client.
Try sending a lot of information at once to server.

Integrate KVS Network API into Peer program

Add identification standard to Communicatoin Protocol

Implement functionality of the Peer node at different states

data replication using buddy node system

Data replication will be done by using a buddy node system which will be directed by leader to form small circular rings for their followers.

Build multithreaded server into data structure

Convert return value from string to type V

Finish implementation and integration of follower node

Define Network Discovery Protocol

Turning Java client and server into contructable objects

Java client and server need to be created so that they can be imported. Currently, runServer and runClient restrict the user into using the programs in one way. Also, we need to look into turning the server class into a singleton or finding some way to ensure we can only run on server at a time.
