When attempting to begin editing the default property of a selected component by typing, if the first character typed is not a letter, an extra keystroke is required. This includes numbers, which is a very common use case. This extra keystroke is annoying and prone to generate errors.
It seems a lot of time when the pots are set to 0, they stop working. For example, I'm working with this simple variable high pass filter:

With the pots at 0 I get "Exception: Sequence contains no elements".
It would be nice to add built-in support for saving the output stream to an audio file. WAV files would be the easiest to implement; they are pretty much a header of stream information followed by (typically) the raw LPCM.
Just installed LiveSPICE on my XP machine. Clicked audio configuration and got exception. Continue button goes back to main screen, abort button will crash application. Exception log:

It would be nice to be able to post-process an audio file. That would help with effects when the computer isn't fast enough for real-time processing. Build the circuit at the highest settings (or allow the user to specify), run an audio file through the circuit, and save output to a file (depends on #44).
It is likely that the accuracy of the standard transcendental functions from System.Math is overkill for this application. It might be possible to improve performance by providing an alternative implementation of StandardMath that uses fast, low precision approximations instead.
This results in the non-clock signals missing data toward the end of the signal. The easiest fix would be to simply draw the signals on a short delay (the size of the buffers being processed) so the missing data is not visible.
An awesome feature would be to be able to compile a VST plugin from the circuit schematic.

I'm running Windows 7 64-bit via Parallels on OSX 10.8.5. I'm able to launch LiveSPICE, though when I go to 'Simulate -> Audio Configuration' I get a "Unhandled Exception in LiveSPICE" message, the text of which is below:

Then, when I click "Continue" the program crashes (sometimes).
Audio does work in this system, e.g., I can play WAV files, YouTube videos, etc.

This issue is intermittent. It appears to be more likely to occur if the application is left idle for a significant amount of time (minutes) before pressing play. I suspect some kind of interaction between the garbage collector and the pinned objects used in the AudioIo class.
The Quantity/Units class needs to support quantities specified in dB. This is challenging because decibels are technically unit-less ratios and do not fit in the existing Units scheme.

Most high-end audio IO interfaces use ASIO drivers, which may offer much lower latency than currently achieved with the waveIn/waveOut APIs.
When multiple input channels are active and mapped to the same input component, the simulation compilation fails due to the input expression already being present in the dictionary.

Currently, the CircuitTests project simply plots the output for visual inspection. It would be much better to build the tests using SPICE netlists, and run the circuit through both simulators for automated comparison.
Currently, the CAS is missing some very basic algebraic simplifications that could improve performance significantly for some circuits. For example, the following expression:
A_x_Exp[y] + B*Exp[y]
should be simplified to:
(A_x + B)_Exp[y]
to minimize calls to Exp.
Currently, the simulations are compiled to .Net IL via LINQ expression trees. It is likely that much better performance could be had by compiling to native code, and taking advantage of SSE/AVX where possible.
As in the title. Currently clicking on +/- buttons is scope do nothing, and the scope instead adapts the display to currently selected singal, thus removing from display offset singals and/or not displaying fully other singals.
System.Math only implements a subset of the functions defined in the GlobalNamespace for SyMath (ex: secant trig functions). These functions need to be implemented to avoid crashes on circuits that use these functions.

I'm located in the Netherlands and therefore when I share schema's with people with difference number decimal separators I get an error. For example when I open the Bass Fuzz example I get the following:
"0.5 is not a valid value for Double."
When I edit the XML file and change the point to comma it works just fine.

A couple of weeks ago I used Livespice and it worked like a charm. Today, both Component library & Schematic view dissapeared. I tried unistalling and re-installing different versions of both Livespice and .Net Framework several times, but nothing seems to work this out. Also, the View menu doesn't work at all.

The funny thing is, if I load a file and press run, even if I don't see the actual schematic the program will actually render the simulation.
I'm on Windows 7. Net Framework 4.5
The signals displayed on the oscilloscope jitter intermittently. This might be due to the system not keeping up with real time playback, resulting in strong discontinuities in the signal. However, I'm pretty sure I've noticed the jittering even when there are no audible discontinuities.
I'm not sure where suggestions should go, so my apologize if this is wrong. I hate to throw suggestions your way as I'm sure you've already thought of them. It be cool to have more options for the switches (ie: DPDT, 3PDT, ...). It would also be cool to be able to flip the switches in simulation mode.
Running windows 7 on bootcamp MBP. Installed ASIO4ALL. Using both internal hardware (cirrus) and a Kore Controller (USB interface)
If I hit the test button with no inputs or outputs selected I can hit it again to stop t etest but of course no audio.
If I select an input and/or an output and hit TEST the program crashes after 2 or 3 seconds, no crash log, just the option to end the program.
The GUI is lacking icons for toolbar buttons, menu items, docking control bars, and the application itself. It would be nice to either use the Segoe UI Symbol font where possible, or understand why that isn't working.

Many circuits produce a loud popping sound when beginning simulation due to the simulation attempting to find the steady state solution of the circuit. In some circuits, such as the Marshall Blues Breaker pedal, this search for the steady state takes an extremely long time and results in terrible audio artifacts.
To avoid this, the simulation should attempt to find a stable DC solution for the circuit, and use that solution for the initial conditions of the transient simulation.
This may significantly improve performance without a significant loss in quality.
The drop down box in the toolbar of the oscilloscope is intended to allow the user to select which signal to focus on. This needs to be implemented.
I can't seem to get the JFET to work. I've tried multiple circuits, including the simple buffers here: http://www.muzique.com/tech/bipolar-j.htm
No matter what I do, there's no signal and it shows 0V.
Text boxes that are bound to expression/unit values tend to change their value while you are typing. For example, typing 1000 V will be immediately changed to 1 kV while the text box still has focus. This is annoying, the text update should be delayed until the text box loses focus.
