Awesome shell by MirBSD. Quick and minimal without bloat but with very good default functionality. Pretty decent bash compatiability and I find most of what I do can be done through just typing without any hand-waving eye-candy:)
Was a heavy emacs user previously, but found delight in the unix philosophy. I find this a good foundational platform for embracing modern technology and conserving the unix philosophy.
