Image loading needs to be able to handle file errors without crashing

something regarding the style: nickname and item icon overlap with the HP bar of the next pokémon. means you can only show all pokémon in a horizontal line. this is bad if you want to use another style in a stream or whatever.
i wanted to show 3 pokémon in a row and the other 3 below it, but i can't do that

now this is interesting: while i idle around in the pokémoncenter the debug screen of the 2nd pokémon flickers around
(and it sometimes dsappears of course on the display)
but it depends on which display i use on the pokétch
on the clock mostly hp and staus get messed up, but it totally explodes on the screen where pokémon bump into each other

Might be a good time to put all the pokemon tables in a seperate lua file so that only one file needs to be updated when providing support for a new generation?
