The sample project doesn't seem to work?
The project doesn't build, but it's old so that's expected, but after updating the gradle version, the asset is not available at runtime.

java.io.FileNotFoundException: super-secret-file

I've also had no luck following the guide and code in my own project. The asset is never available to the app, nor does it appear in the build/generated... directory.
