This has often been mentioned in-game, sometimes people wonder whether it's a bug, so I thought this should warrant some discussion.

Opening the in-game menus hides the chat:

The Game menus are especially small, so I think it is kinda counter-intuitive that stuff on the bottom left suddenly disappears.

Now this causes issues with other menus because it overlaps a lot with the transparent menus.

1625 should be closed
1881 should be closed
1827 has a milestone but no tags
1515 valid or not?

<TeeSlayer> yeah I think they should disappear completely except for frozen status
<Dune> where do they appear?
