I just tried to upgrade a project of mine from 2.1 to 2.2, I didn't get any errors.
Anyway, this kind of upgrading should be performed only in a dev environment: every other possible environment should be deployed in a clear state, not upgraded.

=> indeed i got this error in dev.
removing cache manually when composer crashed solved it.

you mean that in reality it's "symfony" failing so it's not this package's bug ?

There's nothing we can do in this bundle to prevent this minor annoyance.
Moreover, this behaviour doesn't prevent the dev from using the bundle.
