It's because its trying to keep the same underlying position on the uncropped pages in the centre of the window.

• Radio buttons in preferences window are labelled on wrong side
• Pop-up menu over page overview panel opens over main pane
• Overview panel doesn't remember style changes
• Paths garbled in window titles
• Adding sync directory after opening files leaves the system confused about book titles (and not even falling back to the full PDF file pathname, as it should)
• Console window opens in background when the binary is run by double-clicking it
• Still need to make an icon

Misc: adding colour inversions while paging through puts them on wrong page, extending off the page edge

Depending on if you're scrolling vertically or horizontally there can be a lot of wasted space.

Unfortunately this means the page_size function needs access to page bitmaps, and currently they're drawn after the layout function (which calls the page_size function). So either draw every page twice, or (more likely) change when they're rendered and passed to Druid.
