What version of cocoapods are you using? What version of DZNWebViewController are you installing?

I’m using the prerelease v0.36.3 of Cocoapods and the newest version of DZNWebViewController.

If possible, try using an official release version. Pre-release version cannot guarantee being stable.
I've also experienced issues with asset resources, add via cocoapods, in a different project. Will make some test with DZNWebViewController to see what's wrong. Thanks for reporting.

I’ve also tested against the official release v0.36, where the issue was also present. I’m mainly using Swift in my project, although I doubt that this has any effect. The buttons with the assets were also still press-able, however they showed no icon. Thanks for this incredible component and thanks for investigating this bug!

Just updated the sample project, by re-installing the pod and everything seems fine (5295619)
I also created an empty project, installing the library as a remote pod, and it does display the images.

I really don't know what the issue could be.
The podspec seems fine.

That's weird. I tried your example project – the toolbar items are displayed, however the open in Safari icon is empty. I've also tried re-installing the pod in my project: now the progress bar continues to display after the view controller is dismissed and causes a weird crash. For your reference, my project is at www.github.com/thehexagon/RSSReader. I really have no clue what's wrong.

Same issue with CocoaPods 0.36.4 and DZNWebViewController 3.0, I think the problem is Dynamic Frameworks.

I believe the latest commit in master, from @bonebox's PR #25 fixed this. The UIImage creation needed to specify the bundle too.
