mmm-smarttouch's Issues

having some difficulty increasing the right border edge to hide menu

Hey! First just want to start off with: Thanks for making this plugin! It works super well and I've been enjoying it thus far. I have an IR Frame (USB) that handles input for me, and the baseline options are excellent! I have two questions and haven't been super lucky with cracking the style sheets so I figured I'd reach out:

  1. I can't seem to increase the bounding edges for the frame of my display, so that it will hide the menu off screen (like I imagine it is supposed to do) so when I press the menu button it will summon. All I can get close to is the proper bounding edge of my display - 15x24" - and then it will go no further, no matter how much I adjust the 'right' bound. the result is it's always visible, just on the right edge over my weather plugin. Is there a quick fix you can suggest that might let me make it invisible while un-summoned, or, point me at the correct settings so I can adjust properly?

  2. I'd LOVE to be able to patch new buttons into the js config file, but there doesn't seem to be a great way to include new icons to the list without committing my own version of the repository - is there any plans for a modified 'config' setup in the future that could be added for ease of access to newcomers like myself?

config: {
button name: 'example',
icon: 'exclamation',
action: path/to/script/or/thing.sh,
},

Mostly this is about the hiding feature, but curious as to your thoughts on two - otherwise my plan is to just get better at coding in javascript.

Thanks for your time!

The shut down button does not work with PM2

Hi,

First of all great module you need to do more!!!

I cant get the shut down button to work with PM2. If i stop PM2 (pm2 stop 0) then start magic mirror by "npm start" it works.
Is there anyway of fixing this? (All the rest of the buttons work fine with pm2 it's just the shut down button)

Thanks

smart touch not interacting on touch

Hi Eben and all I am unable to get the smart touch working on magic mirror screen,
the buttons for both the shutdown, restart and bottom buttons don't work.

I have connected my IR hardware to the raspberry pi and that works on the main desktop, but switching to the magic mirror screen no touch event can be registered.

Please help, any hints?

Portrait Mode

Hi!

I've been wracking my brains trying to work out why the sensors weren't picking up my interactions with the buttons, and it turns out it's because I've set my Raspberry Pi to display in portrait mode, rather than landscape.

However, the sensor still thinks that the buttons are where they would be in landscape mode.

Is there a way to change where the sensor is looking for interaction?

Having difficulty running module with MMM-GoogleAssistant

Hi,

Your module is awesome.

I'm unfortunately having an issue to get the IR touch to recognize input while I run the MMM-GoogleAssistant module (It works if I disable the module). Unsure where to go from here, and hoping someone might have an idea how to help me out.

I'm a bit of a beginner but can try to provide whatever additional info that's needed.

Thanks.
