macaulay-mix

macaulay-mix provides a constant stream of audio from the Macauley Library which is the world's largest and oldest scientific archive of biodiversity audio and video recordings.

Since they don't offer an API currently this repository contains harvested metadata for all the audio that is used during playback.

Please see the Macauley Library Terms of Use document to see how you can use their data.

map

Since there is geographic information it might be interesting to see the recordings on a map, and to be able to hear all sounds from a particular location in unison.

Sounds not playing

Seems that the sounds not playing in actual Chrome and Firefox on Ubuntu Linux.
The provided Path seems wrong. My developer console gives me the following:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
edsu.github.io/:1 Uncaught (in promise) DOMException: Failed to load because no supported source was found.
