Hi there,

I just got my meter yesterday and I'm loving it.

I thought a neat feature for the Android, (and well, the other ones too) app would be to replicate the data logging feature which currently logs data to a CSV file on the micro SD card. While that is useful, it gets a bit cumbersome to have to open up the meter and take out the SD card after.

Since the app gets readings through at a good interval, the app should be capable of the same sort of logging, after which the resulting CSV (or fancier, given the more resources available) could be shared via the available sharing mechanisms. This would make the step from logging data to using the data less cumbersome.

I had a quick look through the files and noticed this is using Xamarin.Forms. I work with Xamarin.Android on my day job, and while I don't have experience with Xamarin.Forms directly, I'd be happy to give this a shot.

Is the master branch the best branch to start this idea from? I noticed some other branches had more recent activity.

It would be nice if there was an Android .apk available in the releases so people don't have to build the app themselves or who don't have access to the Google Play store.

In one of your videos you are talking about the 121GW being hackable by providing a JTAG interface to the main SAMD processor. Are you planning on open sourcing the firmware of the multimeter, too?

I would be very interested in seeing how such a device works internally :-)
