The first step in getting acquainted with Juncture is to create a simple visual essay in your personal Github account. Write an essay about a topic you like and follow this guide to visualize your essay. It will take about 10 minutes to prepare the interactive essay.

Each visual essay has a default web address that can be used for viewing and sharing the essay. Other URLs, including your own custom domain name can be used if you create a Juncture site. This guide provides simple instructions for accessing and sharing your visual essays.

Juncture can be used to create a full-featured website that includes multiple visual essays and other content pages. This guide provides step-by-step instructions for creating and configuring a new Juncture site. Instructions are also provided for adding and modifying content.
