Want to help with iQPuzzle development, but can't code? You can help by translating! Please double check the below list, which translations are already available or not and which need an update.

iQPuzzle is built with Qt. How to add translations is described e.g. here. If you follow this approach, just fork the repository, add your new language (or correct existing languages) and send a pull request.

Many new languages had been requested at Transifex but translation never was started. If there are any issues with the setup at Transifex, please let me know. Current requested languages and waiting for translation:

Create an extended dialog for chossing a new boad (e.g. show image of board / blocks).

Steps to reproduce:

Q - any symmetrical piece, preferably a +

1. Load a board with multiple "holes" (barriers) and white border (such as most of the oddities, for better visibility)
2. Place a few pieces near the holes / border
3. Drag Q over one of the holes / near the board / over the board (try all three), but do not drop it.
4. Quickly rotate Q.
5. Most exposed borders of pieces on the board will disappear.

Additionally, if a piece D originally placed on the board is rotated such that it is partially out of the board, quick rotation dragging another piece nearby might cause the parts of piece D that are not on the board to visually disappear.

Tested on iQPuzzle 1.1.1 on Puppy Linux (BionicPup64).
Zooming in/out doesn't fix the issue. Easy to reproduce on oddity_003.

Make (mouse) controls configurable. Touch support?

It's great to see this new AppImage being built and offered on the GitHub release page! :-)

Oh, and BTW: congratulations for getting your AppImage being listed as the 200th entry on AppImageHub 👍 🥇

One tiny improvement for you to consider for future releases: this could be to embed the "updateinfo" string into the AppImage. This would allow users to easily and semi-automatically check for updates and upgrade their iQPuzzle if there is a new release available.

If you do not know how to achieve this, you could visit the #AppImage channel on Freenode and ask for help or for a patch so that .travis.yml will do that automatically for you.

It makes sense to use "error" colors when blocks are in the wrong position after rotation.

But if you hold the block at the same time - not so much.

I think it's best not to use "error" colors when you rotate a block while holding it.

Check automatically, if puzzle is solved.

It's pretty convenient to rotate blocks as you move them to the right place.

Unfortunately, if after rotation the mouse would not be on the block, you would not be able to rotate it anymore.

It's especially bad, if you move block above the other blocks - blocks under the mouse would be rotated.

I added a Korean translation. Please check the PR.
Also, the file was raised incorrectly, so I commited it several times. I'm sorry for the your confusion.

iQPuzzle 1.1.0 includes a few new strings, which are not translated to Dutch, yet.

Unlike the other windows (Preferences, About), which open in the middle of the game window, the Highscore window opens in a different location.
