Statamic Tabs

A Statamic plugin to add a Tab Fieldtype. Add tabs anywhere you have other fields!

Installation

Install this plugin using composer.

composer require eminos/statamic-tabs

Features

Add Tabs anywhere you need them. Entry, side panel, Replicator set, Bard set, Global set, etc...
Doesn't touch your other field data, ie. the data is not scoped.
Conditionally show/hide a tab. You add the conditions just as with any other field.
Optionally add an icon to the tab.
You can search and pick an Iconify icon (over 150 000 icons!) if you have the Iconify Addon installed.

Usage

You just add a Tab field wherever you want to start a new tab.

All the fields that comes after it (and that are not an other tab field) will end up in that tab.

Possible improvements

Show if there are validation errors on a field inside a tab
Nested tabs?!
Improve accessibility, keyboard navigation etc.

Visual glitch when adding new sets

Each time I add a new set containing tabs I get this glitch:

Note that:

button has no icon and the words 'BG Image' appear at the bottom (one my tab labels)
Clicking the button does nothing.
If I click a tab or add another set it goes back to normal (shown below)

Adding instructions produces a weird display

I just tried adding instructions to a tab and got this:

The 'Test' instruction appears no matter what tab is selected.

Thanks and nice package! I wish it was part of the core!

Styling of tabs

Hi @eminos,

Thanks for publishing the plugin, very handy :) One question regarding the styling: Do you think you could add a class to the tabs container? This would nice to style the tabs different from the main tabs (e.g. smaller, align right …). Thanks for your thoughts on this. (Edit: This can be achieved with nested styles, and maybe would not get much easier. So I am closing this now :)
