The repo consists of a spring boot angularjs full stack application. The following Technology Stack was used for the implementation

• Spring boot 3.0+
• Mysql server
• JDK 21
• Angular ^15.0+ and related libraries, tools or frameworks

• Install MysQL server (or run MySQL via docker/docker-compose)

• install Nodejs and Angularjs

• Clone the repository using

• git clone <repo-name> and cd <repo-name>

• Open the jwt-spring-angular folder and type mvn spring-boot:run

To run the Angular app, change to repo project root directory and open the user-ui folder containing the angular application.

Then change to the srcfolder and

npm start or yarn start (using yarn)

The example demonstrates how to use spring boot (3.2+), Spring security (6.0+) to secure a spring boot application. The method also contains an implementation of a role-based authentication. It is done by generating tokens, implementing a Filter (via the Spring security's OnePerRequestFilter interface).
