Currently homebrew allows us to install openocd and dfu-util and avoid notarization errors. While it works, it's a pain for end users who will only use it for this one task.

• Can we compile & sign openocd & dfu-util ourselves and include it in the download?
• Are there other options?

Like floppyemu, put a bin file on the sd card and allow the bootloader to do the reprogramming at startup if found. No idea how to go about it but would eliminate the need for dfu flashing.

Is there a script to upgrade the BlueSCSI firmware via a Linux machine? BlueSCSI is recognized and /dev/ttyACM0 is created upon USB insertion. If it can work on a Mac with some sh scripts, that should not be too difficult to adapt for Linux...

The bluescsi updater is currently set only to update to the older 2022 firmware. The 2023 July firmware should be added in its place.

This requires the .bin file be changed in the utils/ directory as well as the calling scripts
