Expected Behavior

Rotating the phone with new unsaved drawings present reorients the screen and maintains the images.

Actual Behavior

Rotating the phone with new unsaved drawings present deletes the images.

How to Reproduce

1. Launch OpenPad 1.5.1 on Android 8.1.0
2. Tap the + icon in Lower Right
3. Tap Paint
4. Draw something
5. Rotate the phone

Saved text changes are maintained when Changing Print Format.

Actual Behavior

Saved changes to a text file are lost when Changing Print Format.

How to Reproduce

1. Launch OpenPad 1.5.1 on Android 8.1.0
2. Open an existing text document
3. Click the Pencil icon to Edit
4. Add some text to the document
5. Click the Disk icon to Save
6. Click the Three Vertical Dots
7. Click Change Print Format
8. Click UTF-8

Clicking the Android Overview button while viewing a large text file opens Overview.

Actual Behavior

Clicking the Android Overview button while viewing a large text file crashes the app.

2. Tap Folder icon to choose a File
3. Tap Open External File Explorer
4. Navigate and Select an existing TXT file that is between 350 and 500kb
5. Tap the Android Overview button

Expected Behavior

Tapping the Trash icon in Paint Mode after changing the Line Size does not affect that setting.

Actual Behavior

Tapping the Trash icon in Paint Mode after changing the Line Size resets that setting to the default value without updating the Slider Bar.

How to Reproduce

1. Launch OpenPad 1.5.1 on Android 8.1.0
2. Tap the + icon in the lower right
3. Tap Paint
4. Tap Paint Roller icon in upper right
5. Tap the Pencil icon on bottom of right toolbar
6. Tap the Size slider and go to max value
7. Draw a line on the cavas
8. Tap the Trash icon on top toolbar
9. Draw another line on the canvas

4. Tap Number of Sentences
5. Select 500
6. Tap the Android Back button twice

10. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen
11. Attempt to modify Search Rate

Expected behavior

Such tips are usually expected to show up once, and that is at first launch to Give a new user a hint of how to use the project.

Actual behavior

The tip keeps show up at every time open pad is launched. Doesn't matter whether you have seen it for the hundreth time.

How to reproduce

• Install the lastest version of openpad (v1.5.1)

• as expected you will find the tip

• exit and restart openpad again

• you will notice that the tip keeps popping up every time that openpad is launched.

• Browser: Eskstar Browser v15.0

• Operating system: Android Nougat v7

Using the Shape Tools in Paint Mode draws single lines while resizing.

Actual Behavior

Using the Shape Tools in Paint Mode draws many lines while resizing often making it hard to tell which is the current size that will be drawn.

How to Reproduce

1. Launch OpenPad 1.5.1 on Android 8.1.0
2. Tap the + icon in the lower right
3. Tap Paint
4. Tap Paint Roller icon in upper right
5. Tap the Shapes icon on bottom of right toolbar
6. Tap the Square icon in upper left
7. Tap and Hold and drag on the canvas

Expected behavior

While using the paints aspect of openpad to draw today. I drew and saved my drawing while the phone was set to portrait screen orientation.
I had the need to make adjustment to the drawing and activate landscape mode for my screen to have a better view, then I noticed this bug. Users should be able use any screen orientation for all operation with openpad.

Actual behavior

The drawing you make using a particular orientation are displayed out of proportion when the orientation is changed. To explain better, portrait mode drawings do not display properly on lanscape and vise versa

How to reproduce

• Get the openpad appplication
• launch openpad
• Use floating plus button at the bottom left corner
• Choose paint.
• And in draw anything, setting your device screen to orientation of choice.
• Save drawing when done.
• Open the drawing again, and change the screen orientation.

Browser: Ekstar browser v15.0

Operating system: Android v7.0
