I was wondering whether there's any reason why the codeframe formatter output is always monochromatic. Is there any reason we shouldn't enable syntax highlighting?

eslint-formatter-codeframe formatter output is monochromatic even in color capable TTYs.

Your take on the correct solution to problem.
Enable colors by setting the highlightCode option to true. I believe that'll handle everything automatically.

We would love to have this repo added to the official @eslint-community organization on GitHub.

As you can read in the '@eslint-community GitHub organization' RFC, the goal of this new org is to have a place where community members can help ensure widely depended upon ESLint related packages stay up to date with newer ESLint releases and doesn't hold the wider community back without depending on one person's GitHub/npm account.

Since this plugin was (together with eslint-formatter-table) removed from ESLint v8 & since you —@fregante— already mentioned you aren't actively maintaining it & you wanted to transfer this repo to a better home, you're welcome to transfer this repository to the new org.
