Hi,
an attacker from outside can open the door if he short the 12V on the RFID Reader. Or can kill the electronic by over voltage on the RFID reader pins.

Its better to use the NC pins from the relay. It saves power and if an attacker kills the MCU the door is closed.

I haven't connected any of the pads P1 - P3 on the back of the board yet because I haven't quite figured out how I should be connecting them.

If I simply want to be able to press a button on one side of the door to trip the locking mechanism, which pads would I solder together to make that happen?

Is the button shorting the RFID reader connection to simulate the exact function of scanning, or is there a separate function written to handle the button?

Hello,
today I received the ESP RFID Relay board and it works fine. I am really excited and want to buy some more.

But I dont know how can I activate the Buzzer an the LED from the Reader?
What about the Door Sensor, I can only see the status at the Event Log.

I would like to read and control everything via MQTT.

Are there some plans to upgrade board to ESP32?

So I have this board up and running, but I must be misunderstanding something about the terminals.

I have a magnetic lock, 12V. My understanding is that I simply connect the + and - wires from the lock to the RPOW terminal and I have a functioning lock. However, I have done so, and the lock is not receiving any power.

There's mention of pads? I'm not sure if I'm supposed to modify the board or ??? Can you help?

I was wondering if you could supply a pick and place file.
