These scripts work great but changes do not stick. Even without a reboot sometime( maybe an hour or hours later) the UDM Pro revmoes all these entries back to default. I can verify the changes work before this happens since I'm using NextDNS and seeing these new host entries take effect.

Anyway to make these settings stick?

Not working after controller update to 7.1.61.

Thanks for sharing these. It worked great until today when I upgraded to 1.9.0. Seems that the IP Version must be set for ipv4?

When I turn the UDMP Internet Threat Management on or off (UDM-Pro 1.9.0.3413), the host records reset back to defaults.

Doubt you can do anything about this, but would be good to include in the README.md? And maybe verify if the same happens to you?

evaneaston sorry to bother but I'm confused on your scripts.
I've added a line like this:

./add-host-record.sh c240dn.savazzi.eu 192.168.1.15
./add-host-record.sh c240dn 192.168.1.15

but on the pc when I run the nslookup I get conflicting results:
