I noticed that grepg create item would take a very long time or just hang on OSX Sierra. After digging in, I found that vim (Version 8.0.x) itself was bonked.

I upgraded the vim version using brew install vim --upgrade and that fixed the issue.

P.S The Vim version I upgraded to was 8.0.0134

Hi,

Interested in your project. After installing on macos (anaconda distribution, python 3) with pip, I get an import error when trying to invoke grepg:

$ ImportError: cannot import name 'GrepG'

I can indeed verify there is no package (caps sensitive) named GrepG. If I point the import to grepg, I get further import errors.

Can you advise?

Upon debugging i found a bunch of import errors and package errors un compatible with python 3.0.
This bug is to fix the errors and release a new version for grepg-python client

With python 3, the post api has changed and we need to encode the parameters in http post requests.
The server side code need to change to now url decode the post parameters.
