Getting started

I need some help with OmniLink Bridge Add-on, please.

I have Hass.io running on a VM.
I installed OmniLink Bridge and after that MQTT broker.
The installation discovered my Omni, zones, controls, etc, but I do not see the devices in the devises list.

• What do I do to integrate Omni devices via OmniLink into Hass.io, please?
• Do I need to integrate MQTT?
• Is there a user manual?

For some reason the mask (validation/format) check behind some of the config entries is giving me a problem. E.g. 7 char into usual IP4 address format then turns red. Interesting:

It stays black (valid) with

"controller_address": 192.16811111111111111,

But this turns red at:

"controller_address": 192.168.

There are other fields that hiccup. Pops up in 3 different browsers. I did not dig into the code behind window to try to find where and why.

On the other hand: THANK YOU for this. My MQTT server is on my desktop computer and as of yesterday it will not start - complains about MySQL issue now.

Is there a way to turn off Hold if it is set on thermostat? I can control temperatures and modes but I don't see a way to turn off Hold. When I leave the house for an extended period, I often turn on Hold at the thermostat. It would nice if there were a way to turn it off remotely.
