Contactless Business Card: This component adds a user profile page in your app. The data source used is Office 365 but you can change it to Microsoft 365 or Dynamics 365 if need be. The QR code is generated via web api and it doesn't requires a power automate flow. This can be really handy for your Sales Team or Field Service Team, to enable them with a no contact business card sharing at no cost and saving you dollars.

ebusinesscard's Issues

Some Fields Aren't Updating Depending on Device Type and OS Version

For some reason, not every Android device is working the same.

Pixel 7 Android OS 13
QR Code scanned opens Outlook new contact form

  • First Name, Last Name, Company, Phone (Work), Email (Work), Website
  • Not updating from QR Code: Job Title, Address (manually typed in Street, City, Province and Postal Code
  • If I email a vcard and open from the phone, it adds to Outlook contacts fine with all fields filled in from a vcard from Outlook so issue is specifically with the QR Code.

Samsung A70 Android OS 11

  • QR Code scanned opens native phone contacts form
  • First Name, Last Name, Company, Phone (Work), Email (Work), Website, Address
  • Not working: Job Title

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Android OS 13
QR Code scanned opens native phone contacts form

  • First Name, Last Name, Company, Phone (Work), Email (Work), Website, Address and Job Title all work

Since a vcard from Outlook works when it's not working from the QR Code, is it powerapps, the QR Code? Once would think the data from a Microsoft Power App opening a new contact in the Outlook mobile app would work better than the Samsung devices?

Package will not import

I'm attempting to import this to test it out but just gives me an error "Something went wrong. Please try again later."
