The main purpose of creating the MVP is to:

• Test the appeal of solution/idea for users/ beneficiaries
• Learn which are the most essential/useful features;
• Validate most of the assumptions with a very little
  investment.

Thus:

• Visitors can browse delightful demands from newcomers & offers from supporters

Phase 1

• Pilot in a few german cities

Phase 2

• WASL plans to expand its services to local residents who are employing New-Comers.
• Expansion to Hungary, Greece, Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon and any other countries.

Vision

• utilize efficiently the donor funding to connect Newcomers with Supporters
  • to create work/ self-employment opportunities and enhance social integration

General Requirements

Specific Requirements

• User Verification
• Match Making (based on: location + business type + experience + profile analysis)
  • + Messaging + organize personal meetings
  • Goal: to be guided and coached by experienced and passionate supporter along the business startup journey

Marketplace Feature

• market place + business linkages (browse newcomers demands + supporters offers)
  • Allow visitors to browse freely
• find buyers, talents to employ, landlords to rent from, business partners, etc. Local
  communities can post their needs and pre-order products and services from NewComers businesses
• payment management (tranches, invoices, bills)
• funds mobilization & management
• followup/monitoring (=transparency)

Profile Feature

• The Marketplace is also a place to show the success of New-Comers startups to potential investors to expand their businesses.

Payment Feature

• WASL will be a platform to mobilize and manage funding from different sources (international organizations, governments and corporates) and channel it to NewComers (only digital, no cash) via PAYPAL/or alternative

  Access to Ressources Feature

• WASL will verify and score the users trustworthiness through
  • social data analysis
  • other techniques to be developed

Business planning & Management

• business plan validation
• for newcomers: step-by-step business model canvas & financial projection easy-to-fill templates (guided by educational / explanatory videos)
• Supporters will work closely with the New-comers on validating the business plan and both will have the opportunity to modify and revise it
  • supporter could also be able to provide some additional resources (like working space or tools for example). Access to Ressources
• Goal: Once the Business idea and plan is finalized, the Supporter will endorse it and
  recommend it to WASL for funding. Access to finanace
  • WASL will validate the business plan for final decision.
  • WASL will review the application and may request additional information /verification (from newcomer and/or supporter) until it feels comfort about the completion and soundness of the business application.
  • WASL will approve successful business ideas for funding (grant or loan).
  • WASL will disburse approved funds on tranches designed on case by case:
    • 1st tranche: to initiate the legal startup of the business
    • 2nd tranche: to complete the legal startup
    • 3rd tranche: to initiate the business startup
    • 4th tranche: to complete the business startup and start operations
• LATER: Supporters will guide newcomers when registering the business, applying for taxmnumber, opening a bank account, etc.
• guide the New-Comer in managing the business successfully
  and ensure absolute transparency in using the granted fund.
• WASL Shall integrating easy to use Tasks & Bookkeeping application to manage all of
  their critical tasks, To-Dos, accounting, tax filing, payroll and invoicing needs

• make it possible to check requirements for 1-4 tranche
• WASL will keep track of the business and show case its success.
