A script that install Illustrator 2021 on Linux

DISCLAIMER : Please use this software only if you have an active Illustrator subscription. I'm not responsable of any use without subscription.

This git repo contains an installer for illustrator CC 2021.

If you use something from my repo OR my host server in your project please credit me in the first lines ! if not respected, it will be my last open-source release.

Installing : To install just run the script with the path of your choice to install it to a custom path. if you don't specitfy it, it will use the default one to /home/yourusername/.WineApps.

EX :

sh install-illustrator-2021.sh will install to the default folder

sh install-illustrator-2021.sh /home/username/folder/foo/ will install illustrator in /home/username/folder/foo/

Uninstalling :

To uninstall remove the Illustrator desktop file in ~/.local/share/applications/ then your installation folder

• wine (bundeled with the installer)
• zenity
• appmenu-gtk-module
• tar
• wget
• curl
• All R/W rights on your home folder and the installer folder
• Vulkan capable GPU or APU

• Gictorbit : For initial inspiration
• Adobe : For making Illustrator (also please release an official version for linux...)

This isn't necessary but it helps paying the hosting server
