I've installed and activated OnePress, and went about making many customizations via the Customizer. I meant to begin with a child theme, but I didn't. Once I created a child theme, using your functions.php and the style.css in a directory in the themes folder called onepress-child, I activated it, but I was looking at the default theme's stylings, not all the customizations I had made.

Is there some other thing I need to call in the functions.php file in order for it to show all my customizations?

Used your style.css and functions.php without any modifications from your examples.

I run the site with the theme activated and it pulls up correctly. If I navigate to ANY page i get 404:
Not Found
The requested URL /index.php was not found on this server.
Apache/2.4.9 (Win64) PHP/5.5.12 Server at localhost Port 80

This is usually traced back to not adding the "template:" tag in style.css, but not in the case.

We have installed this plugin to add custom themes - made accessible with <section id = "xxx">.`
In order to display the desired section on our onepage website we have added an individual to the menu (linked to: "https: //domain.tld/#xxx"), unfortunately the section with the respective id will only be called in the logged in mode as soon as you are logged off, nothing happens! can you fix this error please?

Is there a way to make strings translations available in the child theme ?
I translated the strings of the onepress textdomain, they work well with the parent theme but not the child.
