User reports calendar events not showing up on Mobile Calendar App

Hmm, odd behavior...
Events show on desktop, but not mobile app.
This sounds similar...

And when I follow their steps
and change the date via gCal desktop,
yes now the event finally appears in gCal app!
Wonder if a similar code fix would apply in this case?
Need to catch error for unauthenticated Google API
Trying to create calendar entry while unauthenticated returns:
Error: Call to undefined method Drupal\google_api_client\Service\GoogleApiClientService::getAccessTokenWithRefreshToken() in farm_calendar_events_log_update() (line 58 of /opt/drupal/web/sites/all/modules/farm/farm_calendar_events/farm_calendar_events.module)
