Does the duplication behavior also occur without the Debian license feeder? I think the metadata plugin should not insert duplicate package_versions, but that should be validated first.

I did a local run with the coordinates mentioned by you. What I see happening is that cscout generates several output packages for the libgda coordinate, with have same version but different package_names. I think this is normal, but @gdrosos and team should verify. Below a screenshot of the DB content after the run:

On this case the debian builder has the expected behaviour because from one source package multiple binary debian packages can be built, as described here.

Ok, thanks for the clarification.
I wait to see the fix in #6 because running the pipeline with this Cscout version is causing problems to the license detector and the feeder.
